Pathway to Podium

The Pathway to Podium project is a collaboration between Sport Manawatu and Sport New Zealand. It is one of 14 regional talent hubs across New Zealand under the guidance and direction of Sport New Zealand and High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ). The primary objective of this nationwide talent programme is to develop emerging athletes and coaches in New Zealand who are better prepared for the demands of high performance sports and who have the potential to win on the world stage.

Making Manawatu proud

Our 2016 Pathway to Podium Athletes rank as the fourth largest hub in the country. Below is the list of our 2016 Athletes selected for the Talent Development Programme, click on their photos to view their profiles.
