Your Recreation Advisor

Kia ora, I am Natarsha Nikora the Sport Manawatu Tararua Recreation Advisor. My job is to promote an active community and to link the community to the services that Sport Manawatu provide. I am also able to provide support and advice to sport and recreation organisations, schools, health agencies, Iwi and the wider community. I coordinate and support events and projects that encourage our community to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

I was born and raised in Dannevirke and I am happy to be able to raise my two children here in Tararua Country. I enjoy a variety of sports including touch rugby, netball, cycling and I am a regular at the local gym. I believe the health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders is a priority and look forward to continue working in the Tararua district to promote the benefits of leading a healthy and active  lifestyle.
