Promoting women’s sport on the menu at breakfast of champions

Sport Manawatū held a girls and women in sport breakfast at the Sport and Rugby Institute at Massey University on Thursday, where the group heard from guest speakers who talked about how they got to where they are in sport, then discussed ideas. Tararua 7-a-side tournament results

67 teams competed in the 2019 Tararua Seven-a-side Tournament 🏑⚽️🏐🏉today. The outside teams battled showers and mud in the afternoon, but sport was again the winner on the day! We are immensely proud of the positive attitudes from the participating students, as the organising team from Sport Manawatu and the army of volunteers '"do it for the kids" and all those fantastic smiles (and maybe a few 'shivers' as the day went on).  Photos are uploaded on the Sport Tararua Facebook page.
