It’s time to get moving
Group walking and running is a fun and social way to stay active while enjoying the great outdoors. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities can join local clubs the Manawatu Striders or Feilding Moas for great companionship and support.
The Manawatu Striders hosts a number of running and walking events each year; the Super Seven series (a 7km fun run/walk held once a week for seven weeks); the Winter Series (5,10 and 15km run/walk); the Feilding to Palmerston North fun run/walk; and their premier event for the year, the Manawatu Striders Half Marathon. The Manawatu Striders are a friendly club and have an active and varied social programme.
Every Sunday morning at 8:00AM we meet at our Clubrooms on Manawaroa Park, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:15PM in the Hockey Pavilion on Manawaroa Street, Palmerston North. New members and visitors are always welcome.
